School's Pride Week Aotearoa 2024 sticker designed in collaboration with Japanese New Zealand artist Ren Kishine.
The "We Are Everywhere" slogan featured in this year's sticker design is an affirmation of the resilience, whakapapa and diversity of Aotearoa's rainbow communities. We are whānau and we belong.
The slogan is also a nod to the long history of rainbow activism in Aotearoa and around the world. It calls back to the 'We Are Everywhere' badge created by Dr. Ian Scott in 1979 for the National Gay Right's coalition as part of its campaign to normalise the existence of gay people in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
These stickers are free, but a koha/donation is appreciated where possible to help us cover the postage and coordination costs of getting these stickers out to rangatahi.
